What is your testimony?
I was raised to be a good person. It made sense (at the time) to just be a good person and that was what I should strive for. I had the worldy view that being a good person equaled going to heaven. After reading and studying the Bible, I came to realize that there was so much more. Giving my life to Jesus, was the answer and it has brought so much to my life. Worries and concerns are gone. A clear direction for my life has taken their place.

What is your testimony?
As a child, both of my parents were addicted to drugs and alcohol. My parents split up when I was 4. My mom was in and out of jail and the hospital my whole childhood. When I was 11 I went to live with my grandma. My environment was not good. I was left to take care of my paralyzed grandfather. Also being exposed to alcohol at a young age as well as seeing family members sell drugs. I started going to church when I was 16. When I was 17, I got emancipated. When I was 18, my mother died of breast cancer. At that time, I hit rock bottom, and my son Jackson was born. Six months later, I met the love of my life, Sarah. We have been married for 8 years and have two children together (Jaiden and Gavin). Since then, I have dedicated my life to the Lord.

What is your testimony?
I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home where the love of Christ was displayed by my parents. I came to know Him when I was ten years old. It was during a revival that was being held at Garaway High School in 1986. I felt the call of the Lord, but being ten, I was scared to go forward during the meeting. My mom was one of the counselors that was helping, so when we got home, I told her I wanted to ask Jesus into my heart. She helped me say the sinner’s prayer. I remember the date (May 13, 1986) as it was my parents’ anniversary. Since then, I have grown in my walk with God. Through youth leaders first, then pastors and experienced Christians, I’ve been shown how to put God first in my life.
